Jeremy picked me up at 8 am (really 7-thank you daylight savings).
We headed up to Salt Lake City to watch Music and the Spoken Word.
The MoTab (Mormon Tabernacle Choir) was absolutely beautiful-he knows me too well :) Jeremy then conveniently suggested that we walk around temple square because he knows how much I love looking at everything there. Then we decided to take a tour of the Conference Center.
Our tour guide was a woman named Rene, she was the cutest thing ever. When Jeremy left for a second, she asked me about our relationship to which I told her we were just "good friends." haha I felt awkward talking about my relationship to a complete stranger.
(Jeremy called them a couple of days in advance and told them of his plans and so she was trying to figure out if we were "the couple").
We only had about half an hour for the tour because we had to be at the Joseph Smith Building at 11am for Sacrament. With that being said, we sped through our tour. When we reached the hall with the pictures of the apostles, Jeremy took the opportunity to tell Rene of his plans while I stood nearby staring at the pictures. At the end of our tour we went on the elevator and headed to the top of the building. When we reached the top, Jeremy and I walked outside through the doors while Rene stayed behind. In my head I was thinking, "Why isn't she coming outside with us? She has been with us through this entire tour."
We walked out and looked at all of Salt Lake City. We then stood in clear view of the temple and Jeremy asked me, "So is the Salt Lake temple where you want to get married?" YES. Then he says, "Oh, I have something for you." Then I see him pull a little black box from his coat. Suddenly he gets down on one knee,
"Natalia, will you marry me?"
AHHH! I couldn't even believe it. Wow, it was all so sudden.
Was this real? A million thoughts were running through my head.
I really wish I could remember in detail all of what happened after he asked me to marry him, but it all seems like a big blur because I was so shocked!
Eventually...after a while I realized that I hadn't answered him...I said yes!!!
Then Rene walked out to greet us and she was crying! She is so cute. She said, "I am so happy for you guys! You made my day, actually, my entire year!" Then after the proposal, we ran over to the Joseph Smith Building for Sacrament. When we reached the building I finally had time to look at my ring. It is so breathtaking. Jeremy did such a wonderful job picking out a ring that I love! :) Also, another nice little touch to the ring, Jeremy had engraved on it para eternidad.

I still can't believe it. It seems so unreal to me that I'm engaged! Wow. I love Jeremy so much. I'm so lucky to have found somebody like him. He is such an incredible person and I can't wait to spend eternity with him. He is so thoughtful and caring. I can't wait for us to start our lives together.

(oh yeah, that's my FIANCE!)
