This year we could not contain our excitement about Christmas. Normally I'm a firm believer that one should wait TILL after Thanksgiving to start decorating and listening to Christmas music. Butttttt...since we finally have our own real place (college living does not, in fact, count) we could not wait to get started. It all started with...hey let's get a christmas tree on sale after thanksgiving. Then it lead to....what should we do tonight? Let's go to Target. To finally....look at all these christmas trees! We should get one right NOW! And there you have it my friends. We put up our tree Friday night and Saturday morning we headed over to Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree, & Target for some cute decorations.
We don't even care that it's not thanksgiving yet because we love our tree! I kept thinking for some time on how I wanted our tree to look like/colors/etc. I know I wanted to keep it simple. I'm not a fan when trees are crowded with an eclectic assortment of ornaments. NO thanks. Everything on our tree is silver/gray/white {with the exception of the ornaments that were given to us}. We LOVE IT. Our home looks warm and beautiful! We will add more pictures later.
And we also filmed J putting on the star for the first time!
I'm in love with this man.
